Busselton

Busselton is situated on the shores of Geographe Bay and is named after a prominent pioneering family. The town is sheltered from the oceans current and it is a popular family destination due to its calm safe waters.

Busselton is a well known and photographed town due to its iconic 2 km long jetty which is 144 year old and is the longest wooden structure in the Southern Hemisphere. A walk on the Busselton Jetty is a must see and do attraction and the 2km walk is rewarded by an immaculate natural underwater observatory which is home to over 300 individual marine species.

The town offers a good range of accommodation and has coffee shops, trendy wine bars and a variety of eateries. It is a good base from which to explore the Margaret River wine region.
